Nanny's Marble Pound Cake
This was my grandmother's pound cake recipe. She always had pound cake at her house. She lived to be 102 1/2 and I miss her. |

Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup less 2 TBSP milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup coco, sifted
Directions:
- Preheat oven 325° F.
- Grease 10" tube pan.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vinalla.
- Combine 2 cups cake batter with cocoa.
- Alternately spoon vinalla and chocolate batter into pan.
